Abstract

Discussions on regional development imply the approach of the theories that seek to explain the relationship between economy and space. The literature indicate the theoretical evolution of the concept of development, with the upgrading of clusters and territorial assets. In this scenario, this article seeks to analyze the interrelationships of clusters with the context of regional development in the interdisciplinary point of view. The research used the bibliographic method, from secondary sources of literature with a qualitative analysis of the relationship in this context of discussion. As main results, the survey reveals that clusters are in one of the possibilities for regional development. It is therefore proposed setting up a matrix of inter-territorial relations for clusters, from a multidimensional, with an integrated and systemic analysis, explaining an interdisciplinary approach from the viewpoint.
