Abstract

The present study analyzes the construction of a regional policy of permanent education for health professionals. Taking as reference the work of CIES (Comissão de Integração Ensino-Serviço) from region 28 of health, in Rio Grande do Sul, attentive to the emergency process of this discussion in a Health Region, emphasizing the importance of this Commission not only in discussion of the importance of a permanent education for health professionals, capable of boosting the training of these professionals based on the assumptions, expectations, needs posed by Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS); but, also and especially, the mobilization in the discussion, in the provocation for policy formulation, in the monitoring and control of the regional policy of permanent education in health, integrating representations of both the government and different segments of civil society.
