ANALYSIS OF SOCIOECONOMIC FACTORS INFLUENCE ON YOUTH EMPLOYMENT IN MATO GROSSO

Is approached in this study, as certain factors influenced the probability of entering the labor of young people aged 14 to 25 years market in the state of Mato Grosso. To this end, we analyzed the marginal effects of the Heckman sample selection model applied to PNAD - 2012. The results showed that the variables of race, the fact of living in a rural location and age influenced the probability of entering in the market work. In the analysis of income, the variables years of study, formal work experience and the fact that the youth be a employer increased by income youth. In general, these results can direct public policies to combat unemployment among the youth in Mato Grosso.Downloads
