Abstract

At the level of world economy, the world of work has undergone profound changes in recent years, with significant impacts on the inclusion in the manpower market. Changes in the structure of the production process, or rather the introduction of greater technification and subsequent specialization in production led to changes in business strategies and significant changes in the profile of the manpower demanded. In Acre, as well as in other states of the Brazilian Federation, it appears that the new production paradigm has brought changes in the way of organizing work. Thus, this research attempts to answer: what are the attributes that characterize the socio-economic profile of workers who operate or not in the labor market Acre? In seeking the resolution of this issue seeks to identify the variables that characterize the profile of the worker in Acre. The methodology used was the method of Principal Component Analysis (PCA). The main results of this study indicate that the market is demanding more educated workers with technical degrees and professional experience. In addition, to be verified a large number of married individuals and not many children participating in the labor market. Another important result is the importance of good parental education as a factor characterizing the worker entered the market.
